I’m looking to make a career pivot into risk management. I notice a lot of vacancies say they need a tertiary qualification in risk management or similar.
As someone coming into this does that mean diploma, grad diploma or degree? I have a BEng Hons and a Masters in unrelated fields but with very transferable skills and experience (civil engineering and project management) I don’t particularly want to do another degree!
Can anyone working in risk advise what you look for specifically? How does it vary according to the sector you work in?
I have reached out to organisations in the relevant sector to ask and got crickets.
