My favorite place to board my parrot was Farmer Girl Gardens in Rehoboth, but they have closed. So i'm looking for another reliable service, or other good options. Hoping there are bird owners here with recommendations based on experience.

I'm close to M&D near Lewes, and I sometimes go there for supplies, but the place has a dirty feel and boarding is in a windowless back room. I found a family in Ocean Pines, MD who do pet sitting, but not sure about imposing on them regularly. So, I need a plan B.

I'm willing to drive up to Wilmington if needed. I have a Quaker, so he's banned in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, so those aren't options.

Wondering what experience people have here with cost, delivery, and upkeep using propane. Never used propane as weve been city dwellers. How bad an idea is it?

We've been looking at new homes in Glenmore, around 2000-2500 sqft. I was surprised to learn that the newer builds in Glenmore are propane heat even though they have apparently have natural gas in the older section. The houses are not cheap, but we are considering it because we have an aging home on a big lot, and no longer want to keep up with the maintenance. Our current gas heating bill has gotten crazy, but I dont have to worry about keeping a tank filled.

Also, it's not clear to me if the house explosion last summer was propane or gas. The lack of a major fire sounds more like propane to me. Im not so worried about safety, just curious.
