I know people always talk about “overdone tropes,” but honestly there are some I’ll fall for every single time if they’re written well.
For me it’s probably:
I don’t even care if I can predict it. If the emotional payoff is good, I’m in.
What’s a trope you’ll never get tired of? And what makes it work for you instead of feeling cliché?
I need something that actually keeps me hooked. I'm taking a break from fantasy and litRPG, and I just want purely addictive modern urban drama or romance.
