Dog’s Lips Changing Colors
Hoping someone can ease my mind about my dog’s lip. For the past 9 months-ish, the areas on his lip under his front canines have been turning pink on both sides. It originally was lightening up, then it kind of went to a pink brown, and now it is just pink. He is a 4 year old golden retriever-lab-cattle dog mix.

I don’t know if it is age related, some form of snow-nose phenomenon, or something I should be worried about.
It doesn’t seem to bother him, no changes in appetite or activity. He uses a stainless steel bowl so it’s not a plastic reaction. I can’t think of any new things we’ve introduced really that would have caused the change.
I just am a worrier and don’t want to sit and wait on something that is going to turn into something worse 😭 he has his annual vet appointment coming up July, but it is weighing on me - so any insight is appreciated!
