Is it just my company or do most AEs nowadays not do cold calling or cold emailing much?
Most AEs at my company get their opps from the Account Manager (or CSM), or via a partner, and they do NOT do much cold calling or emailing. It’s not just me bagging on them - I can see their created and closed-wons.
Are those the main ways for most tech sales AEs to hit their targets?
I was under the impression companies were trending towards shifting towards full cycle AEs again. And my company tells AEs to do cold outreach even though they have BDR. But they don’t do it.
