Sleep paralysis started occurring after I attempted to Astral Project

So I've never had sleep paralysis until I was about 19 or 20( im 28 now), when I was around that age I learned about Astral Projection, and started doing the methods to attempted it and failed, by failed i mean i could not get the experience or leave my body like other people described. Shortly after that I started having sleep paralysis events probably like 3 or 4 times a month since then. I have not seen or heard entitys but just that im awake and can barley move. Has anyone else had this happen after trying to AP?

Sleep paralysis with weird sounds

Hello, I've recently been experiencing sleep paralysis, and usually before this happens I hear a low pitch hum or extreme tinnitus while winding down and getting ready to fall asleep. My sleep paralysis consists of me being super immobilized like I can barley walk or move, also no entitys are visible. The noises are a suresign that I will go into sleep paralysis. Is this abduction signs or is something else going on?
