I am closing on a house soon. Built in 2021. Located in a closet is a box or mount with cables leading into it. There are 3-4 coax cables with no connectors along with what appears to be a low voltage multi pin connector with wires of different colors leading to it. There’s also an AC outlet below fwiw. It doesn’t appear to have ever been used.

I can’t seem to get a clear answer from the real estate agent what the purpose of this control panel was. Various web searches lead me to believe it was some sort of smart home control panel. Maybe a security system? Network distribution? I’m clueless.

Any help identifying the purpose of this thing would be appreciated.
