My impression of Judy based on this symbol from electronics classes
I've always believed Judy represents the End. As in not just the end of the world or death but the concept of things ending like a story or a play. For me that lined up with the description of a "powerful negative force" because Judy might mean the end of Twin Peaks and that would definitely make me unhappy :(
I felt this connection because of this symbol I picked up from studying electronics, the two top symbols are called terminators(both are the same, just showing they are drawn differently sometimes) and are always placed at the end of a run of coaxial cable which is generally used for television or phone lines. So when I saw the bottom symbol start popping up across Twin Peaks I thought hey thats kinda familiar. It reminds me that Twin Peaks is one long run and maybe this is what we'll find at the end. And with David Lynch's familiarity with electrical engineering I thought I'd share this similarity here since I haven't seen it pop up before.
