Anyone else over the dating apps?

This is probably a little crazy, but I’m trying something different, and I suppose what’s there to lose?

I’m over the apps. They feel inauthentic and depersonalized; seemingly not built for finding someone also seeking real commitment. I’ve tried coffee shops and bars but everyone’s either buried in work, got their airpods in, or already paired up. Not on social media either, so maybe I’m missing something there(?).

It seems like online dating is a struggle from both sides. Men struggling to get matches, women inundated with low quality matches. No one’s really winning.
Anyone else with a similar story and looking to change that?

34 male, solid career, hobbies, friends. Genuinely looking for a partner to explore and build a life with. Wanting kids is a plus too. But for now, a no pressure conversation over coffee to laugh about the absurdity of it all (including this post🤦), or better yet an activity like a run down Blackstone, would be ideal.

If this resonates, reach out!

Also genuinely open to suggestions as to where people recommend meeting others organically these days, or settings where women feel comfortable having a stranger come up to say hello.

And if dating/the apps have given you some good horror stories, drop them in the comments cause I’d love to hear them for a shared laugh and commiseration.
