Hoping this is the right place to get opinions on the matter but I recently made the mistake of buying my train ticket with a railcard roughly a week out of date.

Total fine according to SWR is 130 quid which in my mind , while ridiculous, is easy to just sort out and move on however family members keep insisting i should appeal the cost ?

I dont see why any form of appeal would help me in the situation as its a rather cut and dry situation and I am unfortunately in the wrong but do you guys think it would be worth it ?
