Hello, I am due to return to work at the end of summer. I’ve always been primarily based in the city centre and would do a site visit as needed to another location. I really like this setup but spoke to a colleague from that other location who in passing said things have changed and they could move me there and although she has no authority over what I do her opinion is often taken on board by my manager and I am concerned this is true as it would add 90 minutes to my daily commute. Meaning I’d get less than an 20 mins a night with my baby. I’m losing sleep over this and not sure if I should reach out to my manager or wait until nearer the time.
