I was originally planning to do a trip encompassing Chengdu, Jiuzaigou and Chongqing but I totally forgot about Golden Week. Is there any way to plan the itinerary such that I can avoid the Golden Week crowd?

The original plan is to Chengdu > Jiuzaigou > Chongqing > Chengdu.

Flight are in and out from Chengdu. Am afraid I can’t get train tickets from Chongqing to Chengdu on 30 Sept / 1 Oct. However I do want to visit Jiuzaigou on my first few days before the Golden Week crowd.

Will there be issues heading to the airport on 2 Oct? Is flying back on 3rd or 4th Oct better?
