Total Beginner: Should I invest in Fuji lenses for wildlife photography, or switch systems now?
(1) Budget, country, and currency:
Budget is flexible-ish (<2-2.5k USD). Country is the U.S.
(2) What equipment, if any, you have now and why is it no longer meeting your needs?
I'm a beginner currently shooting on a Fujifilm X-T30 III with the kit lens (XC13-33mm) and I want to get into wildlife photography (especially birds) as well as macro photography. I've heard mixed opinions about Fuji and wildlife/macro.
(3) What kinds of subjects do you intend to shoot?
I want to focus on general wildlife, but specifically birds. For macro, really any insects.
(4) Is it primarily for photography, videography, or both?
It is primarily for photography.
I’m trying to decide whether I should stay with Fuji and invest in lenses or switch systems before buying expensive glass
