How does Netcup “owner change” work? Also willing to transfer my VPS 1000 G11 iv SE NUE FEB25
I’m currently using a VPS 1000 G11 iv SE NUE FEB25 on Netcup and I was originally planning to cancel it. But because there haven’t been any deals lately because of RAMocalypse, Now I’m thinking it might be better to transfer it to someone else instead of cancelling.
I found the “Change of ownership to another customer” option in the CCP, but I’m not fully sure how the process works.
Main things I’m wondering:
Does the owner change transfer the VPS exactly as is (all data, installed OS, snapshots/backups, IPs, etc.)?
Or does the new owner receive a fresh VPS installation?
Are snapshots and SCP backups transferred too?
Does the contract duration/pricing remain the same for the new owner?
Will Netcup charge me anything for the transfer itself?
The warning mentions cancellation refunds and money laundering prevention. Does that only apply if the new owner later cancels?
Is there anything important I should delete/reset before transferring the VPS?

Cost month: € 6,81 / € 5.75 (CCP mentions €6.81 but last month, Only had to pay €5.75)
Contract period: 1 Month
