Li Ke Yi and Yi Hang are together for the first time with their new drama,《碎月缚》// Shattered Moon Chains, which premiered today, Sept 26th CST!

Title: Shattered Moon Chains (Alt Titles: Broken Moon Binding, Shattered Moon Binding)
Chinese Title: 碎月缚
Genre: Period, Romance, Revenge, Wuxia
Episodes: 71
Duration: 2 min
Director: Ru Mu
Premiere Date: Sept 26th, 2026 CST
Online streaming platform: Hongguo

Cast: Li Ke Yi (Du Nanyue), Yi Hang (Lu Xian'an)

Description: Du Nanyue, an illegitimate daughter, witnessed her mother's tragic death at a young age, framed by Cheng Shu, the matriarch of the Du family. She was then sent to a brothel and a Buddhist temple for spiritual cultivation.

After ten years of seclusion, she mastered the art of controlling Gu poison. After massacring the brothel, she feigned amnesia and was taken back to the Du family mansion by Lu Xian'an, the commander of the Imperial Guards.

Pretending to be weak, she secretly used Gu poison to stir up internal power struggles, repeatedly thwarting the schemes of Cheng Shu and her daughter, and using Lu Xian'an's influence to pursue her revenge.

Torn between the bone-deep hatred of her family's annihilation and the increasingly alluring Imperial Guards, her carefully laid revenge plan had long since slipped from her control

🤔💭

Li Ke Yi has been on fire lately with releases and this one is no different! This is also her first team up with Yi Hang so this will definitely be an interesting watch to see how these two work together.

Now the drama itself looks hella good! I mean, home girl is poisoning people left and right then has the commander of the guards chasing after her like a puppy?! Where can I sign up for this ‘job/body’ if I ever transmigrate? 😆                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             I cant wait to see how her revenge plans work out with Yi Hang’s character hot on her heels and of course her inevitably falling for him lol. I mean with that face… how could you not?!

Checklist complete!

Zhao Zhen Dong and Ma Qiu Yuan have a new drama,《亿万斯年》// For Eternity, that looks insanely sweet and premiered today, Sept 25th CST!

Title: For Eternity (Alt Titles: For countless eternity, Billions of years)
Chinese Title: 亿万斯年
Genre: Urban, Romance, Campus, Youth, Age gap, Comedy
Episodes: 99
Duration: 2 min
Director: Fu Yicong
Screenwriter: Wu Niangu
Premiere Date: Sept 25th, 2026 CST
Online streaming platform: Hongguo

Cast: Zhao Zhen Dong (Meng Sinian), Ma Qiu Yuan (Su Ge)

Description: Su Ge, a quirky musical girl, lives with her grandfather, a potter. A chance encounter leads to Meng Sinian, a gifted pianist, being drawn to her musical talent and taking the initiative to approach her. Their daily lives become a series of playful banter and tender moments.

Su Ge bravely pursues her love, her youthful innocence tempered with passion and boldness. Her flirtatious advances leave Meng Sinian unable to resist, often issuing helpless yet serious warnings to Su Ge not to tease him.

Undeterred, Su Ge even kisses him first. Meng Sinian gradually becomes smitten with her, revealing his own youthful spirit. Ultimately, overcoming their nine-year age difference, they overcome obstacles together and find true love.

🤔💭

Zhao Zhen Dong is delivering all the feels with this one! And since I am a sucker for a good age gap romance, this is a definite add to the watchlist!

A 9 year age difference is not that big to me but, I know to some it is. However I feel they played this one right and didnt make it cringy like some others that we know lol.

Luo Zheng had his day at Hengdian World Studios and this kid… he is a menace and I love it!

Not only does he try to ride the flying sword over the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden for a second time, however opted out when he heard the ‘cost’, but he tried stealing money from the NPC’s not once, but twice!

Maybe he was stealing it for another round on the flying sword…🤔? NGL, I would be down to go on that lol.

He was at least sweet enough at the end to give Xiaoxiao (who I am guessing his manager?) the milk tea. Granted this was after he tried to give her the box of money… 😆!

There is more to come from his adventures at Hengdian but Im sure the NPCs were ready for a break after his shenanigans lol🤯!

Wang Dao Tie and Wang Xiao Yi are on their second collab with their new drama,《扁担银行》// The Shoulder-Pole Bank, which premiered today, Sept 10th CST and this looks like a serious emotional rollercoaster of a drama!

Title: The Shoulder-Pole Bank (Alt Title: Carrying Pole Bank, Trust in Mountains and Rivers)
Chinese Title: 扁担银行
Genre: History, Martial arts, Brigade, Patriotism and national sentiment
Episodes: 63
Duration: 2 min
Director: Wang Shuai
Premiere Date: Sept 10, 2026 CST
Online streaming platform: Hongguo

Cast: Wang Dao Tie (Zhou Qiwei), Wang Xiao Yi (Shen Zhao), and Hu Jia Rong (Bai Liu), Zhu Rong Rong (Gu Shenzhi), Xu Chang Chao (Ah Shan), Dong Bo (Shen Qian Shan), Zhang Cheng Cheng (Daliu)

Description: Set in 1935, the story follows Shen Zhao, the young lady of the top security escort agency in northern Guizhou, who is ordered to join the "Carrying Pole Corps" and fight alongside Zhou Qiwei, a top economics expert in the Red Army.

They lead a team of over a hundred men, carrying gold, silver, a printing press, and account books—the Red Army's assets and its economic lifeline—on carrying poles. Facing the imminent annihilation of their entire army, they fight for survival.

Surrounded by enemies, they win allies through trust, and break through the impassable blockade with cunning strategies.

As they face life-and-death situations together, true love blossoms, but their mission weighs heavier than romantic feelings—under the guns, she protects him; in dire straits, he gives her his trust.

🤔💭

My home girl Wang Xiao Yi, another SD x Fam Alumni, is pulling out the big guns on this one! She put in a lot of time on and off set practicing the stunts and is legit kicking butt in this one which its making me an even bigger fan now lol.

If I was not a fan before, add in her playing a top security escort in this type of martial arts/history drama and I would become one cause her and the knives and swords?!

I already knew she was a bad-arse from the show when she straight grabbed the power drill and when ham with it but dang, remind me not to piss her off lol.

Wang Dao Tie is also killing it in this one with not just a face card but hes got some serious skills as well!

Now, I am not much of a history-war drama fan but this one looks like its going to be really good for those that arevfans! That also means that there will be a lot of emotional gut punches that comes with these types of drama.

The backing on it.... According to post on Weibo, this drama happens to not only be a tribute to the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, but was selected as one of the first batch of projects to be supported under the State Administration of Radio and Television's "Five Batches Project" for the creation and dissemination of high-quality micro-dramas.

In other words, it means the ‘powers that be’ have kept an eye on this one and would not let anything other than pure awesome pass lol.

Checklist complete!

>🤔 A new drama that is part of the ‘projects’ for micro dramas that might be setting the tone for future one so Im curious what their backing/hawk eyes looks like on screen?! ☑️

Zhang Chi and Zhi Chun He are back again with their second collab on their new drama,《不候,过期离婚》// No Waiting, Expired Divorce, which premiered today, Sept 9th CST and it looks… fun! 😆

Title: No Waiting, Expired Divorce (Alt Title: No waiting, divorce after the expiration date)
Chinese Title: 不候,过期离婚
Genre: Amnesia, Divorce, Relentless pursuit, Heartbreak, Wife-Chasing Hell, Clingy puppy
Episodes: 86
Duration: 3 min
Production Company: Xuanshu Interactive Entertainment, Jubao Interactive Entertainment
Premiere Date: Sept 9th, 2026 CST
Online streaming platform: Hongguo

Cast: Zhang Chi (Zhou Siye), Zhi Chun He (Su Wan)

Description: On the day of their divorce, Su Wan received news of her husband's car accident. Her once successful husband had lost 10 years of his memory, believing himself to be only 18 years old.

However, Zhou Si, despite his amnesia, is also passionate and sincere, forming a bickering yet endearing relationship with Su Wan, rekindling their affection through their daily mutual understanding.

Zhou Si also discovers his wife's grievances and resolves to win her back, gradually uncovering the family pressures and communication breakdowns behind their broken marriage. In a dialogue between his 18-year-old and 28-year-old selves, he realizes that love is about companionship.

🤔💭

Ok soooo I had high hopes for this one, I had seen some cute reels and some VERY nice photos of Zhang Chi in his boss look, but the more I dug the more my eye started to twitch lol.

I have to give props to the FL leads character cause there is one point where he says he cant sleep with the lights off. Yo… Im sorry that line would result in a ‘there is the door dont let it hit you on the way out! Come back once you figure your ish out.’ 😆

But then again Zhi Chun He’s character seems to be, how to put it nicely… lacking in the emotional responses that one would normally have. Again only based off the clips I have seen but girls range of emotions is equal to a rock. So her loosing it? I dont really see that being a thing and if so its probably on par with kicking a leaf.

Now I was accepting of the ‘Im 18 again’ bit until the stuffies, lights on and the onesies that was cute at first. Whining Zhang Chi though? 😑 And of course its making me nit pick everything on this one like his 18 y/o hair, not the best look for him and could have been done better. His makeup, not even going there. I feel I have seen this particular MUAs work and I do not approve but that is just my opinion lol.

Now his 18 y/o character does try to be good and help to fix the relationship and recognizes that older him is a D-bag lol. Now if they are able to get things back on track, we shall see!

I hope and pray for Zhang Chi's sake this is just a PR job gone bad or they used Jin Jai Yus PR team that is.. Well lets just say the offer still stands and extends to Zhang Chi as well, 1 post equals 5min ab time and we will handle all PR!

Fun fact according to post on Weibo: "No Waiting, Expired Divorce," cleverly echoes the country's divorce cooling-off period system. The law stipulates that a 30-day cooling-off period is required for a divorce by mutual consent

Jin Jia Yu and Cheng Lin Miao have new drama,《霍总夫人她套路满级》// Mrs. Huo is a master of manipulation, which just premiered today, Sept 8th CST and it looks like this will be a very cute rom-com!

Title: Mrs. Huo is a master of manipulation (Alt Title: Mrs. Huo's Schemes Are Masterful)
Chinese Title: 霍总夫人她套路满级
Genre: Sweet romance, Wealthy families, Comeback, Heiress's Rise to Power
Episodes: 74-ish
Duration: 2 min
Screenwriter: Teng Doudou
Premiere Date: Sept 8th, 2026 CST
Online streaming platform: Hongguo

Cast: Jin Jia Yu (Huo Yichen), Cheng Lin Miao (Li Yan)

Description: Li Yan was originally the sole legitimate heir of the prestigious Lin family in Haicheng, but she was hunted down during a business war and lost her memory. She was then adopted by a prominent family in Northwest China and became Li Yan, the eldest daughter of the Li family.

She was arranged to go on blind dates with the three heirs of the Huo family in Haicheng. To break off the engagement, Li Yan chose to disguise herself and enter the Huo family. She was enrolled in a prestigious school in Haicheng and studied with them.

She constantly outwitted the three Huo brothers, but unexpectedly discovered that there was more to her background than met the eye. While searching for her origins, she developed a romantic relationship with Huo Yichen, the eldest son of the Huo family.

The two fought side by side, their feelings deepened, and Li Yan gradually unraveled the mystery of her own past.

🤔💭

Plus side on this one, as far as I can see, there is no sign of someone pregnant with 2+ children or trying to steal his man juice to get pregnant lol. Down side is once again Jin Jia Yu’s PR team sucks at promoting his new dramas.

Like if you are going to half arse it our sub would gladly volunteer to help you lmao. In exchange for a meet and touch, I mean meet and great! Each post equals 5min of ab time, seems fair right?!

Now the actual drama lol. The storyline is all over the place of the who, what, how of Cheng Lin Miao’s character and the reason behind the giant guaca-mole, mole, mole mooole. In the words of Austin Powers, “I want to c-u-u-t it off, ch-o-o-p it up, and make guacamole”!

We also have yet another ‘school environment’ drama to add to the ranks. We get it, everyone is back in school so you gotta release every school drama that you have but ease up a bit man lol. We can only take so much of 20/30 somethings pretending be to teenagers 😑.

The biggest curiosity of all on this one IMO, is that Jin Jia Yu is in a tutu?!?! I have no clue why its happening but bros got some nice arms and legs and chest 🤤… but really... why though? So many questions on this one lol.

All that aside, this looks like an actually cute rom-com of a drama that I might attempt to watch lol.

FYI… not to be confused with the 3 Mr. Hou’s out there if you hunt down the name (2 of them being with Jin Jia Yu; and there is a couple AI as well that we dont even want to talk about lol) because you will get all of them in a search and its infuriating lol.

>"Mrs. Huo's Schemes Are Masterful": Starring Jin Jiayu and Cheng Linmiao, the novel focuses on the female lead's use of cunning and manipulative tactics.

>"Mr. Huo, Your Wife Has Transformed Again": A BL (Boys' Love) novel with 77 episodes. The core concept is a wife who can transform and can be either male or female.

>"Mr. Huo, Your Wife is a Boss" (which there was a new release on 😉): starring Jin Jiayu and Yang Luoqian, it tells the story of a female tycoon and a crippled heir who hide their identities after marriage.

Checklist is oddly complete!

>⚫ A giant mole that makes want to watch this just to see WHY? ☑️

Shen Hao Nan and Zhai Yi Ying are together again for their 5th colab with**《许你更如意》// May You Have More Happiness**, which premiered today, Sept 4th 0012 CST and I am 100% ready for this one!

Title: May You Have More Happiness (Atl Titles: Wishing you greater fulfillment and satisfaction, May You Be More Satisfied, May You Have More Perfect Wishes)
Chinese Title: 许你更如意
Genre: Romance, Period, Comedy, Fantasy, Creative
Episodes: 77
Duration: 2 min
Director: Xuan Luo Jin
Production Company: Yinfeng Culture
Premiere Date: Sept 4th, 2026 0012 CST // Sept 3rd, 1212 EST
Online streaming platform: Hongguo

Cast: Shen Hao Nan (Xie Jingci), Zhai Yi Ying (Liu Ruyi), Du Ya Fei (Young Taoist priest), Yao Yi Tian

Description: The widow Liu Ruyi, living a life of luxury and wealth, only desired to preserve her fortune, indulge in pleasure, and admire beautiful women. Anyone who dared to touch her money would be met with a fierce fight.

Unexpectedly, a noble and alluring demon named Xie Jingci appeared out of nowhere. His exceptional charm and captivating presence kept him constantly by her side, their interactions sweet and witty.

Yet, an unsettling air always emanated from him.

Liu Ruyi was greedy for money and lustful, yet Xie Jingci relentlessly pursued her. But no one could swindle Ruyi out of her money, much less steal her heart!

🤔💭

Shen Hao Nan and Zhai Yi Ying always kill it together and this one is no exception! Add in the bonus of Du Ya Fei and we are set!!!

Now if thats not enough, we have Zhai Yi Yings money grubbing character and Shen Hao Nan playing a clingy demon/puppy which means we are in for pure comedy gold with these two!

The set, wardrobe, script, hair/makeup… everything looks fan-freakin-tastic and I can only hope that the drama actually lives up to the hype because this one has been the talk of social media for a minute!

Per post on weibo, the interwebs have dubbed this one as a "gender-swapped version of the Legend of the White Snake," using a human-demon romance as a shell to wrap a heart-wrenching love story of mutual protection, with a plot setting that is more layered than an onion!

If you know about Legend of the White Snake you 100% can see it! If you opt to watch the drama though… patience is a virtue is all I can say lol. 😪Maybe thats part of the draw on this one that its impossible for a vertical to be drawn out as long is the OG was…

But this also means there will be plenty of emotional gut punches with this to keep Kleenex in business. So be ready with the tissues on this one!

Checklist for sure complete!
