Has anyone successfully cancelled a David Lloyd membership within the 14 day cooling-off period?
I’m considering joining on the 3-month option. I’ve already had a trial day and liked the facilities, but it was quite busy, so I’m not 100% sure yet whether it would be worth it yet.
They said I’d be able to cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period if I didn’t like it, but I’ve heard mixed things about David Lloyd being difficult to cancel with, so I’m just wondering how true that actually is.
I’d have to pay £230 upfront (first month and joining fee) so if I didn’t like it it’s quite a gamble if I’m not going to get any of that money back.
Has anyone actually cancelled within the 14 days? Was it straightforward? Did you do it through the app/email/club directly, and were you refunded?
