There are some issue covers that I am looking into for issues 1 & 2 still. And I like the blind bag covers for issues 3 and 4 but the price is daunting.

It's been stated that Duncan Rouleau will use Robert Carey's designs for the issue that he is working on. So, I am hoping and wondering that Duncan Rouleau will use Robert Carey's design for his cover too. And so we could have something cool and have Robert Carey make a variant cover using Duncan Rouleau's designs that he used for his issue 1 cover.

I would love to see more of Rouleau's Wildvine, Cannonbolt, Stinkfly and Upgrade (especially in Carey's artstyle). They all have such interesting designs that we only get a limited view of due to them being behind Ben, or they are just too far to the side to get a truly satisfying view of them.

And will Duncan Rouleau's cover even be a variant cover if he's the one drawing out the issue? Or will his cover be the main cover this time with Robert Carey's being the variant cover?

The Dynamite comics are definitely planning something with Diamondhead. I just don't know what. He is getting special treatment without a doubt... although he lost to Kraab and FourArms ended up getting the job done instead.

But if we look at the issue covers and count them based on which alien is the focal alien of the cover:

FourArms has 5 issues

Heatblast has 4

Cannonbolt has 4

Wildmutt has 2 lol (where are my Ripjaws covers)

GreyMatter has 2

Stinkfly has 4

XLR8 has 3

Diamondhead has 8

He has 8! 3 of which are from issue 1! He didn't even appear in issue 1! And the Akira homage cover of Ben walking up to Diamondhead feels a bit much if Diamondhead wasn't something special for events to come.

Not to mention how he didn't appear in the rapid de-transformation sequence incident in issue 2.

We've gotten 2 Akira homage covers so I think it would be cool if we were to get another Jaws homage cover, but with Ripjaws instead of Cannonbolt. I really love the Cannonbolt cover that we got and it has helped to boost DE Cannonbolt to my favourite Cannonbolt design, but Ripjaws is the perfect alien to have as a Jaws homage. Having the lure in the image would be really cool too.

A cover that homages One Punch Man volume 1 would be cool too. Whether it be FourArms, Heatblast or Diamondhead on the cover in place of Saitama. As well as a homage to One Punch Man volume 33 but with XLR8 in place of Saitama.

Issues 1-3 should be considered 1 episode, equal to that of And Then There Were 10. But I feel that DE has been more eventful than OS for its debut episode. Issue 3 hasn't released yet but I have a feeling that the third issue will be the best one yet as we will see Ben confront Kraab. But even without the third issue, I even feel confident enough to say that issues 1 and 2 alone (about 2/3rds of an episode) is better than And Then There Were 10.

I think The Eggman Cometh is a good episode for Fasttrack and probably his best episode. The issue is that people don't watch this episode with their eyes, they watch it with bias and that's evident from how people talk about Fasttrack in this episode.

But the reason why I think this episode treats Fasttrack well is firstly, his screen time. He has two appearances in this one episode. Fasttrack definitely steals the episode in his second appearance too. When people think of The Eggman Cometh, they think of Fasttrack racing the missile. And this scene is probably Fasttrack's most well known scene. Just not for the right reasons.

Secondly, the missile scene has a lot of positives to take from it (that most people ignore because they're watching with bias). Firstly, Fasttrack actually blitzes past the missile (which most people are blind to seeing).

It doesn't really matter that Fasttrack was unable to stop the missile because it shouldn't be expected from him to be able to. It's not in the cards for him. The same applies to XLR8 so put your bias down. Being able to outspeed a missile doesn't mean you can stop it safely, or at all. People also point out that Fasttrack being unable to come to a proper stop makes him fraudulent but I think that makes him interesting.

However I think it would be better if Fasttrack actually was faster than XLR8, but going at speeds past what XLR8 is capable of would make it harder for him to stop as opposed for Fasttrack having both this drawback, and the inability to run faster than XLR8.

However the scene of Fasttrack being unable to slow down is also a feat, as we see him tumble and crash into a fence at the speeds he was going at, yet seemed relatively unharmed. And we see that Fasttrack has really good durability so him being unharmed from his tumble lines up well.

Outside of feats, I just think that the missile scene was done well. You could feel the tension when Fasttrack was trying to stop the missile as well as the effort he put into running.
