I'm really excited for all the firmwares out there but I'm a little lost. Which one is the best for turning the M vave into a grovebox?

To be honest i don't know how i ended in this situation. I have a small home studio where i charge for mixing. I charge low because in this economy i rather have a little money than none at all. The thing is latelly all my clients have been egomaciacs who argue about every little thing, make up fights for everything and demand free work or "i am a bad engineer". I won't say that i am the best at mixing, i do what i can with what i have. It's just been frustrating enough to consider throwing the towell. Do you guys have any advice? What should i do? How do you guys manage this kind of clients?
EDIT: i have read almost all of the comments and the decision is clear on charging more. i will keep on reading comments and replying anything i feel i have something to say.

My stepfather gave me this 90s camera to digitalize his recordings of their daughters growing up. The thing is i dont know the model or if it works. I need to take out the tape from inside but i dont want to sacrifice the camera to hopefully use it in the future.
All i know is that is a Sony handycam. The battery charger (the second photo) doesnt seem to power on connected. Hope you guys can help me out and sorry if my english is not that good.
