or leave room so fingers can get the scalp?. google say absolutely braid and band to root when washing, but ive heard ppl say they dont to the root for washing & rinsing better. i just did 1 year 2 months no braiding & banding & the first time i tried holy shttttt! it makes a huge difference💀 im a guy i honestly didnt wanna learn to braid until my loctician told me to so it would bunch less. so happy i foubd this out, but i feel slow, my hair wouldve been loc’d by now..
