Pic are: 1: today, 2 & 3: two days ago, 4: May 9, 5: a video still of the mother bird that keeps bringing the babies food (can’t get a pic of her on the nest, I’m sorry!)…the large baby seems to be sitting atop at least one other baby. Is this okay? Is this a cowbird that infiltrated the nest? My sister currently has a cowbird egg in a nest upstate and now I’m worried this is the same situation. I know I can’t do anything but I feel bad for the crushed baby (babies?)

In Schisms, we see Data recite half a poem about the sunset and his “Ode to Spot.” He then asks Geordi for feedback and Geordi tells him that his poems were clever but implies that Data’s lack of emotion caused the audience disconnect. I can’t help but feel like he’s being an absolutely judgmental jerk about it. He clearly missed the point of the poem for Spot being a loving ode, despite its technicality since that’s how Data shows love…and then he was rude about it.

Riker gets a pass because he was having a rough go that episode but I’d like to see Geordi write a better poem than either of the Data poems we see.
