We have a basically new evenflo Revo 360 that the straps loose on their own if you pull on them. We do not need to press the spring loaded thumb-press to release the straps. This seems like a potentially fatal flaw, but we can't find any details in the manual or online about how this should look.

To me it seems the strap at the thumb-press should go above the bar to create more contact area with the grippy part.
