Finishing up - more rocks or just lots of plants?
Finishing up this expansion project on my pond. Made it wider and deeper 3 1/2 ft in the middle. Also added the bog filter.
The pond previously had a ton of rocks mostly small like ~2" and after 2 years it was gross and a nightmare to clean. I'm trying to avoid creating a complicated scenario when it comes to cleaning so not looking to fill the thing up with rocks but wondering if it might be better off with some more on the upper shelfs. I do have 6 bags of river rock leftover so thought I might use those somehow.
I'm going to be ordering some pond plants this week for the bog and main pond so those will take up some space on the upper shelf as well.
