How to fit a Krasnogorsk-3 lens on a Nikon FM3a body?
Hello there, I’m hoping to get some answers for this puzzle;
I would like to use the lens from my Krasnogorsk-3 which uses what I think is an M42 thread on my Nikon FM3a. I understand about the adapter part which is fine.
However, the lens seems to protrude way past the mount thread. It appears to be 20mm from what I can tell. I’ve attached a picture.
Even without using a correctional adapter with the optic I’m pretty sure the back of the lens will be going far too far into the camera and almost certainly hit the mirror!
Would this mean I need a 20mm m42 to m42 spacer?? Or is it not that simple? Is it even doable?
I would also like to get this working with my Fuji H2S.
