Baby ducks in need of a home
Near Mill Creek, 6 baby ducks were found dangerously crossing the street in front of Beale Memorial Library without their mother nearby. After safely collecting them, we drove around the area hoping to reunite them with their mother, but unfortunately had no luck.
We spoke with local police, but they were unsure of what steps to take and advised us to contact animal rescue services. Our search led us to California Living Museum (CALM), though they were unavailable at the time. We plan to call again in the morning to see if they are able to help.
In the meantime, we’re posting in hopes of finding someone experienced with caring for ducklings who may be able to provide them with a safe and loving temporary or permanent home.
