Nwa white river. River levels so low theres almost no water

This is my first astro photograph and I think it’s pretty decent. I also educate people with my rig while I’m out and decided to tell a little bit about this cluster here!

This cluster is visible from earth to the naked eye while being roughly 444 light years away. The blue stars are hot and bright which is making a reflection nebula around the stars, which were once thought to be leftover stuff from the formation of the stars. Now we know that the dust is unrelated to the stars and is just in the interstellar medium that the stars are passing through.

We should all try to see it because it wont be around for much longer! In about 250 million years from now, the cluster will be lost due to gravitational tugs from the galactic neighborhood. Very sad.

In this photo theres also a minor planet in it called Alemannia. It just so happened to be in the photo when i took it. It’s basically a giant asteroid in the asteroid belt. You cant really see it but its somewhere in there lol
