About my Project

First off thanks to everyone who responded to my previous post.

My project is that I'm creating a guide to help scenario commanders lead effectively and make events more fun for everyone involved.

If you've commanded or organized a game, I’d appreciate your insights:

If you’ve been a Commander:

What was your biggest stressor? What was the best part?

What should scenario designers keep in mind more often?

What’s one piece of advice every commander needs to hear?

If you’ve run/produced Games:

What do you wish volunteers understood about the role before stepping up?

Do you prefer strictly ironclad rules, or do you like seeing players exploit loopholes?

What’s your #1 tip for commanders to make your events better?

Since I'm laid up at the moment...I'm working on a project.

So, I dislocated one of my toes last week and I'm in a boot for 4 to 6 weeks. I'm probably done for the season paintball wise, going to spend time working out, getting myself in shape and losing some weight (anybody who has some ideas for workouts and exercises send those my way)

As such, I'm starting work on a project that might be a subject that's near and dear to a lot of our hearts, specifically having to do with commanding scenario games.

So the call is going out, if any of you in here have commanded or run scenario games (yes u/heavyrifleman I know you've run a game LOL) and would like to be able to throw some input in on this project, hit me up and I'll give you an overview of my idea.

Yes I know my idea is very niche and probably won't be a money maker project but it'd be a labor of love that I'd be happy to take on.

Anybody (besides me) gonna be at Fort Knox in Winamac this weekend?

Just asking. If you see the SAS staging area (we will have a 10x20 canopy and the SAS Flag will be hanging from one of the corners) come by and ask for Rickroll (that's me)

IMPORTANT: Gonna keep this short and simple for everybody.

Okay all, we had somebody who chose not to read the rules or read the room when they came into our subreddit earlier. They are gone and they're not coming back.

However, in the spirit of things, I'm going to leave this out there for all of you, especially those of you who responded and chose to break rule #1 of this subreddit. Knock it the fuck off.

If somebody comes in, breaks a rule, whatever, report the post, block them, send the mod (me) a message just bringing it to my attention, and I will deal with it. Do not engage with them, do not insult them, just treat them as if they don't exist and go about your day.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

For any of you who are curious about Zero Hour....

My Personal Zero Hour Related Playlist

I shared this list with a member of the community recently and I can't remember in my old age if I had ever shared it with all of you. If you have questions about Zero Hour or have been interested and want a peek into what the game is and is all about, you could probably do worse than this list.
