Grabber Owners! Case Advice Needed.

TL;DR - I need case advice for a Gibson Grabber from actual Grabber owners.

The crown jewel of my collection is my 1975 Gibson Grabber. For reasons I will not get into, it has been in storage for over a year and I am finally at the point where I am comfortable spending the money to get it back into my hands.

The problem is that the bass is currently in Maryland and I live in Guam. I have no way to fit check cases and the bass will have to survive a trip halfway around the world. Since Gibson basses are notoriously fragile and this is a vintage instrument that is deeply important to me I want to make sure that I get a proper case for it.

I have a friend in the area that is willing to handle the packing and shipping for me, so all I have to do is cover shipping costs and order a case to his house. Unfortunately he is ignorant of all things instrument related, so his expertise begins and ends at putting the bass into the case and shipping it.

I need someone that actually owns a Grabber and a case they trust it with to give me some input. The Sweetwater Case Finder returns some pretty generic results (not that they are bad quality cases but they're generalist units that I can't be sure of sight unseen). I'd be happy to settle on one of them provided someone that actually keeps a Grabber in it can vouch for it.

Thanks in advance!
