Update: Presidential Towers Noise Issue Resolution

This is an update to a post I made here 2 weeks ago looking for advice on how to force Presidential Towers management to deal with a problematic upstairs neighbor. After about a month of pestering management with videos and front desk reports, I was finally able to get a concrete solution to the problem. Did the noise stop? Oh no, absolutely not, it's still going as I'm typing this. However, management has agreed to move me to a new unit, with no rent increase, and a $1,000 credit to cover any moving expenses I might incur (yes I have it in writing).

I'm extremely happy with the outcome. The general manager of the property reached out to me directly to set up an in person meeting. He explained that they've exhausted all the options they have to try to get the noise to stop, but he can see I clearly don't have "quiet enjoyment" in my unit from the videos I've been sending, so to make things right he is personally managing my transfer. He also offered to let me break the lease with no penalty, but aside from this massively unlucky neighbor situation I genuinely love living at PT.

People on this sub seem to have had overwhelmingly negative experiences with PT management, so I figured I'd share this very positive experience I've had with them.

If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, RECORD RECORD RECORD! It's the only reason they took my complains seriously, if I didn't have video evidence to show them, I'm sure they would have just written me off as a karen complaining about footstep noise.

Is this a mistake? I feel like NICTD meant to make the new branch line gold, not the main line

This is an update to a post I made 4 hours ago. I've been dealing with a nightmare upstairs neighbor for the past month who up until recently I thought was a construction crew renovating the unit upstairs. It wasn't until the banging started occurring after midnight that I realized this is a tenant, not a construction crew. After making a few noise complaints that turned up nothing, I decided to document every time it happened today, and eventually convinced security to come to my room and watch this video. They subsequently went up to dude's room and told him to knock off whatever is making the noise. An hour later he's been quiet, but I'll have to wait to see if it stays that way.
