Phalaenopsis deliciosa

I thought you all might enjoy my wildly overgrown Phalaenopsis deliciosa.

I can't take responsibility for growing it to this size- I bought it like this and had planned to split it up, but when it arrived I loved it just as it is. It has several tags on the back including one identifying it as Kingidium decumbens (a name that went away in 2001) with what seems to *maybe* be a date of 7/88, but the last number is smudged away so I can't be sure if it is actually that date or any date. Also, I think that there are two mounts under all those roots.

The bad news is that is has both snails and mealy bugs. I have been treating it for mealies first with a PureCrop 1 drench becasue I had it, but am moving up to a systemic insecticide with 1.47% imidacloprid in it with the next watering. I am keeping a little bit drier at the moment to keep the snails in their shells so I can deal with them later.
