Half Anniversary huh?
Time flies quickly huh? Though I was never an active RP'er, hell I'm not even a member of this sub.
But anyways I can't remember where my RP origins came from but it was either the okbuddy sub or Umaddit or if it went from okbuddy to Umaddit, like most of y'all, there I didn't have a character. I didn't join Umaddit but I scrolled through and even commented
At least as far as I remember, I really didn't have a character if at all, that's right, folks. Red started out as an NPC character with no personality of the sort and I was content. Then came the Clampdown Incident, and people migrated or deleted their accounts. I decided to migrate too, and decided to actually maybe start RP'ing.
Unfortunately, I fumbled the first race I volunteered in and also didn't know HOW to RP (I still don't). So I made up a character for Red as a guy who either prevents the arcs or is involved with cleaning the aftermath with magic mcguffins, I later decided that he was actually an intern for an organisation doing it and was on the way to get the Holy Grail...
...He was meant to die in that arc/almost died and get re-stationed at a supermarket but I got lazy and didn't know what I was doing so it ended up scrapped and Red escaped within an inch of his life. So at some point I decided to make him a mystic items salesperson after almost dying and getting fired immediately for an incompetent job and based his characteristics on, much to his chagrin if he was real, the Decepticon Swindle. Animated Swindle specifically.
Add a half baked story origin story and the rest is history, I guess. Although I don't RP much, thanks for being (mostly) civil people and just being chill to be around.
