Decided to use my new lighter to light up a Plasencia Alma Del Cielo. This cigar is amazing, I did not want to put it down(unfortunately I had to go back inside by the time I got to mid band). Great medium body smoke with a balanced flavor profile. I got notes of honey and cream throughout and some light cedar or perhaps citrus. I was sad to put it down without nubbing it, but I'm very glad I have 4 more of this vitola in my humidor along with a box of the robustos. I can't wait to compare the robustos to this beautifully pressed hexagonal cigar.

Mail call from cigar circus never disappoints!

Got some Alma del cielo that I'll probably break into this weekend and some others that I wanted to try. Looking forward to the New World Decenio as well. Shout out to Ben from cigar circus for hooking it up with a sweet Plasencia lighter!

Which one would you smoke right away?

My first EPC Pledge Purple. I'm still smoking it but so far it has been amazing. Smooth with tasty chocolate notes, some creaminess and a tiny bit of woodiness and coffee. I'm glad I have four more in the humidor but if I get a chance to buy a box I definitely will.

For those that have had the regular pledge and the purple would you say they taste pretty much the same? Or does the added age of the purple bring out different notes?

Wasn't bad but wasn't the best I've had. I'll have to give it another go one day but for now I'll hold off. I have a few other different Padrons in the humidor which I'll try soon.
