Okay, I had my first experience in life that got me questioning reality.
First of all, I consider myself a fairly logical person. I'm an accounting manager so I have a very good short term memory. I have passed every audit for the past 5 years.
I ordered 9 mini figurines for my office desk last week and put 9 small pandas in their habitat, I told everyone in the office that I have counted there are 9 of them and no one should even think of stealing it. I took pictures that day and sent them off to my wife.
Today, I walk in and only see 8 of them. I was really disappointed and asked my immediate coworkers. They all said yeah that's sad someone would steal it, and verified my claim that there were 9 of them. However, I remembered the pictures I sent to my wife. I opened the picture to see their orientation and apparently I only see 8... It just didn't sit right so I went onto Amazon to see my order and it says the order had 8pcs.
My coworkers can't believe that either because they all saw 9 pieces. It's like a mass hallucination I can't make sense of. We even jokingly said last week. It makes 4 couples and one single panda. But now apparently there was never the single dude in there. I'm confused.
