You get $5,000,000 USD a year but every word you communicate costs you a $2.5

An escrow agent receives $5,000,000 on Jan 1 of every year, they hold onto it. A cosmic being calculates every day the numbers of words you communicated and deducts the dollar amount daily. You get what's remaining on Dec 31. If you run out you get nothing.

You can see the current $ balance everyday.

Here are the rules:

Any word you put out there in order to communicate with someone, or a computer counts.

What deducts,

- Speaking out verbally, even if it's to no one.

- Typing something on an electronic device. (Yes, even a Google search) (Every word that is typed counts no matter what the goal is)

- Writing anything.

- Pointing out words already written to someone.

What doesn't deduct,

- Any Inner dialogue with yourself in your head.

Condition 1: You can't have any other source of Income. Any Investments you have, get reinvested in your own money for the future. However because in the first year you won't get money till Dec 31. You can continue with your current job but the rules still apply.

Condition 2: Determiner words like 'The' etc do count towards the deduction.

Do you take this offer? Do you think you've got what it takes to achieve this?

Edit: This is a 5 year contract.

Edit 2: Sign language is allowed and doesn't cost money.

Edit 3: A word is counted no matter the language, be it English, French or Spanish every language with the script counts.

Edit 4: Consider money to be tax free.

Edit 5: You can't go into a negative balance. Once you run out, you start Jan 1 again. You've effectively failed the challenge for the year but you can't earn other income stays until the end of the 5 year contract.

Edit 6: If you average 4300 words a day. You can still end up with a million at the end of the year think about it. It's all about allocation. And like I mentioned you can see the current balance everyday.

Edit 7:

/Spyderbeast Comment

What about pointing to emoticons? What about nodding or shaking my head? - Doesn't Charge Money

What about electronic transmission of words already written, like ordering from a website that already has your name, address, etc - Doesn't Charge Money

What about a checkmark on a privacy agreement or disclaimer? The checkmark isn't a word, but those legal agreements are wordy - You're interacting and not typing per se, so doesn't charge money

Which brings me to closing one loophole no one found yet. Typing with a mouse click, via on screen keyboard counts as typing.

Edit 8: Sleep talking doesn't charge.

Edit 9: You can disclose this to your peers no problem with that.

Edit 10: Password for logins are exempt and don't cost money.

What quality of work life WYR prefer? If results were permanent for life.

Median individual Income**

Permanent for life until standard retirement age in your area** or when you have enough capital/money to retire.

You can keep doing your same job you have currently or become a clerk at your local post office.

Assume one week paid vacation a year for anything above 45 hours a week.

Your salary always is matched to whatever the median is every month.

Assume once selected you can't change to any other job ever.

You have a chance to win $75 Million USD. You will be dropped in Volgograd in a random spot during the peak of the German offense in Battle of Stalingrad. You have to survive 12 hours and you will be brought back. Stakes are real you can get hurt.

Now, if you say yes, you're allowed to bring 5 items with you that you can carry in your backpack that's standard airplane check-in size. Items should fit inside your backpack.

What items are you bringing with you?

I'm baffled by how lightly they were taking security around Talisman stones.

Okay,

If I knew the only thing standing between me and Immediate death was a stone hanging by the door. I wouldn't just hang it there with thin cheap thread and ignore that.

I believe if people acted rationally.

- Have at least one person assigned to always have custody/ keep an eye on the talisman at all times. It's not like there was anything else to do.

- Have stronger material maybe a copper wire to hang them.

- experiment if they could encase it in a box and nail the box on the wall for extra security.

- Maybe consolidate and have panic rooms with additional talismans within buildings.

- Have one backup talisman hidden just in case of a large event so that's the last resort in case all the others were to be lost.

- See if you can hide them away during the day to prevent sabotage ( if possible)

I'm baffled by how careless they were with them. Like that's your only line of defence and you don't even make it quake proof, have them hung with a thin thread and bit if breeze can cause it to fall? Did you see anyone actually securing them properly once? Or am I the only one who didn't notice?

I have a hate/love relationship with this show. It's so volatile. I love some parts and equally hate other parts. Overall, a nice show.
