So in the trial when Eva is accused she makes a statement "how could I accquire all these items (like Desmond's taser, Jett's battery etc) if i've been heavily observed on the past few days?" (or something like that)

But that question was never answered

When Eva asked that, Damon said that she was aware of Desmond's taser because she had his blackmail. He only proved that Eva knows about the existence of the taser - he never answered the question of how she actually got all these items despite being heavily observed on because of lying about her talent

I guess Eva was right when she said "Damon says a lot of things"

If you count the deaths, and:

1. Include all Alter Egos (>!Gonta and his Alter Ego count as one!<) plus >!Chiaki as an observer!<

2. Include >!Daiya!<, >!Tokuichi (Haiji's dad)!< and alternate endings (>!Kyoko and Toko!<)

3. >!Include all DR2 characters despite them still being alive!<

4. Exclude >!Taichi (as long as the wiki has his status as "unknown")!<

5. (For clarification) only count DR1, DR2, UDG, DR3 and DRV3 deaths

Then it turns >!Tsumugi is exactly the 53rd death in the franchise!<

Edit: 2 additional rules

1. Excluding everything Monokuma-like >!(Monokuma, Usami, Monokubs, Motherkuma etc)!<

2. Excluding the people who were killed in >!the Tragedy!< and the >!2k Reserve course students!< (despite being valid deaths, excluding them makes >!Tsumugi the 53rd one!<)
