Built a webhook management platform and accidentally learned system design, monorepos, and cloud infrastructure
I’ve been building a project called Webhux, a webhook management platform for developers to inspect, manage, and organize webhook events more efficiently.
What started as a small idea turned into one of my biggest learning experiences. While building it, I learned how to work with a monorepo setup, manage shared code between apps/packages, improve backend architecture, and think more seriously about scalability and developer experience.
Right now I’m redesigning parts of the UI/UX, adding rate limiting, and learning GCP to improve deployment and infrastructure.
Still a lot to improve, but building this project taught me more than tutorials ever did.
