Back to regular programming.

Today is Day 6 of the Moonlighting and Pre-residency Seminar:

One word to describe today's topics is Global. Today, we will explore careers abroad and how to prepare for foreign exams of THREE CONTINENTS (Europe, Australia, and the US). You can ask everything from how and what to prepare (our notes are still in the picture, of course), all the way to how much the entire prep costs.

But of course, we also believe that home is where the heart is, so today we have a speaker to discuss the most prestigious public service for doctors, the Doctors to the Barrios program. For those enrolled in the program, this is your opportunity to ask questions about the program and how it works.

Today's topics are synchronous. So get off reddit and log in. 😘

As I said, I try to be nice, and I try to be well-bred. I don't always succeed. I guess I did not yesterday.

The mistake was to take the garbage out of the house. I posted for the TNPLE people, and a ninja brought my words to another house. The other house responded. That would have been fine if they hadn't reposted in r/medschoolph . It was almost as if a rabble rouser wanted a response.

Sa pikon ko, I gave them what they wanted. It is not my proudest moment.

The mistake was, as many comments said was to make patol, to patronize the garbage. That will not happen again.

I stand by everything I said about the program. Everything I said about the program is accurate, as long as you ignore the snarkiness.

I am not apologizing. I responded to an attack on me, my livelihood, and my family. I might have gone nuclear, and I could have been more civilized. But there is a point where diplomacy ends and a blunt response is called for.

Reddit is not for the weak. I was reminded of that yesterday. So, I shall do what I do best and be a better ambassador for the program.
