I made a walkie-talkie plugin for Minecraft servers

Been working on this for a bit — a Paper plugin called RadioChat that adds real walkie-talkies using Simple Voice Chat as the backend. You get a radio item, tune it to a channel, and talk to other players without shouting across the map or tabbing into Discord.

Mainly built it for my own SMP since proximity chat alone wasn't cutting it for coordinating stuff at a distance. Figured other server owners might find it useful too.

Still pretty early, so any feedback on features or bugs is appreciated.

RadioChat — Walkie-talkies powered by Simple Voice Chat

Made a Paper plugin that adds real walkie-talkies to Minecraft, built on top of Simple Voice Chat. Players can craft/get a radio item and talk to each other over channels — no more shouting across the map or relying on Discord for in-game comms.

Great for SMPs, RP servers, or any server that wants more immersive proximity+radio voice chat.
