'The Boys' Season 5 -Alternative version Made by me
I've written the alternative version of
The ending of 'The Boys' season 5. Instead, after Homelander obtained V1, they could have extended it by adding a few more episodes. Since The Boys is Amazon's number 1 show, they could have poured money into it to increase the episode count.
In the subsequent episodes, the story would build up like this: "Homelander has acquired V1 and is sending his loyal Supes to other countries one after another to implement his newly created New World Order. He has started with Latin America.
Instead of Kimiko, Frenchie and Sage are experimenting on Gen V's Sam Riordan to give him Soldier Boy's powers. Because apart from Soldier Boy, only his physiology is perfect to survive this experiment, since Vought had already experimented on him before. Eventually, Sam Riordan's heartbeat starts getting weak. Sage can't figure out what to do because she won't be able to survive near the exposed enriched uranium.
On the other hand, Homelander sends a team of Supes along with his Crime Analytics team to kill The Boys. Everyone, including Kimiko, is struggling to kill the Supes. MM is dashingly killing Supes by firing his Benelli M4, but he runs out of bullets.
Frenchie is in a dilemma about whether to release the Supe virus, as there is no other way to survive, but if he releases it, Kimiko will die, along with Sage and Sam. Just as Dogknott goes to kill Hughie, Dogknott's head explodes. Slowly, all the Supes' heads start exploding. Out of fear, Hughie takes Neuman's name. Later, he sees that Marie Moreau has arrived there. Along with her, Jordan arrives and uses their power to shut down the enriched uranium exposure.
Marie Moreau comes and heals Sam, fixing him, but he is still in a coma. Frenchie doesn't use the virus. But they talk about the fact that if they use the virus, Supes like them will also die. Butcher arrives.
In the next episode, Butcher explains that Sam, who has gone into a coma, is useless to them and the plan has failed. The virus is the only solution. Then MM says the virus won't be able to do anything to Homelander; only the rest will die. Emma suggests that if Kate can be brought in, maybe Sam can be awakened. Emma, Jordan, MM, and Starlight go to find Kate. And Marie stays with Sam to protect him.
The Search for Malchemical’s Secret
Butcher and Hughie reveal that they found a footage from Marathon Man's house where Malchemical blacked out Homelander using an unknown chemical through his breathing. If they can get that chemical, maybe Homelander can be weakened just like Soldier Boy, since Homelander's super-smell is a kind of weakness. Frenchie, along with Butcher and Hughie, goes to steal Malchemical's corpse to find out about that chemical.
MM learns that various Psychics are torturing Kate, trying to convince her to join Homelander's side. Emma enters the cell, enlarges herself, and consequently breaks the cell. Polarity takes the opportunity to save MM and Jordan from the Psychics and brings them inside. Polarity breaks the cell and rescues Kate. But Kate explains that she doesn't want to die; Homelander will kill her. However, Emma convinces her.
Butcher finds Malchemical's corpse, and Frenchie somehow tries to take a sample of that chemical from Malchemical's tongue and mouth. Later, Oh Father arrives there. Hughie and Butcher somehow manage to escape with Frenchie. Frenchie tries to recreate that chemical from Malchemical with Sage's help, and on the news, they see that Homelander has started a massive ethnic cleansing in Mexico using Supes due to his expansionist mindset (the build-up for The Boys: Mexico). Everyone realizes there isn't much time left.
Homelander has now taken control of the White House. The U.S. Navy has also left America and started going to war for the New World. The ships are full of American Supes.
Homelander is sitting on a chair in his room drinking milk, and he tells Ashley and The Deep that Crime Analytics is delaying their work. He orders them to capture Butcher and kill his team quickly. Soldier Boy arrives and says that even though he dislikes Black people, he never had any hatred towards Hispanics. Homelander asks Ashley and The Deep to clear the room.
Soldier Boy asks why he invaded Latin America. Homelander says he had to start from somewhere. Soldier Boy tags him as a white supremacist. Homelander replies that without political power, he couldn't fulfill himself. Soldier Boy calls him a megalomaniac. He says he is no longer part of this bullshit; he is going to Bogota, and he warns Homelander that whatever he has done in Mexico, he should stop right there.
Homelander takes this as opposition. As Soldier Boy turns his back to leave, Homelander takes out something like an oxygen mask attached to a bottle from his table drawer and presses it over Soldier Boy's mouth from behind. Soldier Boy kicks his legs and strikes him, causing Homelander to fall, but he still doesn't let go of the mask from Soldier Boy's face. Soldier Boy faints. And Homelander locks him up in a Cryo-chamber just like before. He then calls Zoe and her father Sameer to thank them for the parcel.
Now in the next episode, Frenchie and Sage succeed in extracting the formula for Malchemical's breathing. But Kate tries to bring Sam back to consciousness, and as soon as Sam regains consciousness, he accidentally unleashes a light chest blast, depowering Kate, Sage, Emma, and Polarity. Marie and Jordan come in from the outside.
Butcher keeps looking for the chemical but can't find it. Frenchie also cannot find that stuff filled in the mask-attached bottle. He thinks it might have been destroyed. The entire Boys team sets off for the White House, taking Sam with them, and Butcher texts Ryan to help him one last time for Becca's sake.
Marie unleashes her powers and starts killing the horde of Supes one after another at the White House. Jordan dodges the bullets of the President's guards using their powers, while Homelander is giving an ultranationalist speech to the nation, stating that Supes are the only superior race in this world. Humans no longer have the opportunity to become Supes; he has destroyed all the Compound V. There is no one left alive capable of making Compound V.
Marie is on the verge of fainting from Oh Father's super-scream, but even though weakened, she manages to kill Oh Father. However, Marie's hearing ability is partially impaired from that scream.She collapses to the ground.
The Showdown with Homelander
Suddenly, Butcher arrives and interrupts Homelander's speech. Homelander screams 'William' and lunges at him. Homelander laughs at Sam's power. Homelander forcefully grabs Sam by the throat, corners him with massive durableness and goes to snap his neck. Jordan uses their powers and pushes Homelander away. Homelander is about to shoot lasers at Jordan, but Butcher grabs Homelander around the neck from the side using his tentacles. Homelander cuts the tentacles with his lasers and starts punching Butcher.
Sam gets up and stands to hit a chest blast, but when Homelander tries to stop him, Jordan again uses their powers to make Homelander feel dizzy. Homelander shoots lasers at both Sam and Jordan. Sam collapses to the ground, and Jordan goes into another room. Marie stands up and approaches by leaning against the wall. She couldn't understand what was going on because she was feeling multiple heartbeats at once. She didn't know whose was whose.
Butcher repeatedly tries to tie Homelander down from the side with his tentacles, but due to Homelander's agility, he too was getting tired. When Homelander overpowers Butcher, Ryan arrives and knocks him down with a laser blast. Ryan very calmly fights back against Homelander. Butcher, Ryan, and Jordan together give Homelander a combined fight.
When Homelander tries to break through the White House and escape, Butcher wraps his tentacles around his thighs and legs from the side, and Ryan and Jordan together hold him down. Homelander was continuously shooting lasers here and there. To prevent him from shooting lasers, Butcher covers his eyes with his tentacles. Ryan presses that mask-attached bottle, which Frenchie had made, over Homelander's mouth. Ryan had brought it with him.
Sam bends his knees and remembers Golden Boy; he remembers all the torture Vought put him through. Homelander tries to free his hands. With one hand, he tears off a few of Butcher's tentacles and manages to free his eyes from the tentacles. Just as Butcher begins to collapse, Sam Riordan fires a massive chest blast right at Homelander's face.
Then, the atmosphere is quiet. Everyone has collapsed. Butcher stands up. He sees that his powers are gone. He picks up the crowbar in his hand. Homelander wakes up and tries to shoot lasers. But even though his eyes glow slightly, he can't shoot them, his superhuman strength has drastically decreased, and he cannot fly. Meaning, the traces of Compound V in his body have diminished, reducing his powers to that of an extremely old, D-tier Supe.
Butcher starts beating him mercilessly. But since he still has a tiny bit of strength left, he tries to fight Butcher. However, both of his legs explode. It is revealed that Marie has used her powers on Homelander. Homelander tells Marie that he knows about her. He asks her to fix him. He will forgive her mistakes. He admits that he didn't kill Marie because he knew nature had created them both the same way. That's why both are Project Odyssey survivors. Marie says that her ears have suffered enough.
When she is about to poop Homelander's head, Hughie stops her and tells her to leave the ending to Butcher's hands. Butcher drives the crowbar into Homelander's head, tears it open, and pulls out Homelander's brains. Then, finishing their respective missions, The Boys return together to their hideout.
Congress removes Ashley from the presidency. On TV, it shows that Stan Edgar is willing to take charge of Vought again. Just waiting for the legal procedures to finish. MM tells everyone that this was the hint Stan Edgar was giving him, meaning he had the desire to regain ownership of Vought. Ryan says Zoe and Sameer were helping Crime Analytics in exchange for Stan Edgar's release.
Starlight informs them that even though Homelander is dead, the riots started internationally by the Supes he sent haven't completely stopped yet. They now have to find a way to stop them. Hearing all this, Butcher runs away with the Supe virus. Hughie, having anticipated this, follows him. A confrontation occurs between Butcher and Hughie. Butcher says it is no longer possible to stop this. The Supe virus must be used. After a brief fight with Hughie, Hughie is forced to shoot him. Butcher reveals that he did all this on purpose because he had no desire to live anymore.If they wanted, they could usefully wipe out the bad Supes using Sam.
Later, everyone attends Butcher's funeral. MM wants to know Ryan's wishes. Ryan says his mother wholeheartedly wanted him to study. He is thinking of going to college. Emma and Kate also agree, saying that after the Godolkin experience, they are also willing to go to a normal college now. When asked for Jordan's opinion, they say? Since he can no longer switch to become a woman,he cannot join the women.He want to stay with Marie.
Marie looks at Sam and says it is urgent to wipe out the Supes who are still causing havoc outside America. So, for the time being, she won't be able to take Jordan with her. Once her work is done, she will also ask Sam to make her human.
Ryan asks, what will happen to Vought? What is the guarantee that they won't make another Homelander? MM says people from the CIA and Congress are still going after Vought. Hughie states that he is not willing to work with the CIA. Starlight says they can also work independently.
Everyone wants to know where Kimiko and Frenchie are. Sam says they left. They ask how Sam knows. Sam says that before leaving, Kimiko wanted him to depower her and make her normal, so that she and Frenchie could be together somewhere.
After this, there is a four-month gap. It shows Ryan in a cafe watching on TV that many Supe gangs are being wiped out across Mexico. A girl comes and asks how she looks. Ryan says, "Tasty." The girl asks why he hasn't tasted it for so long then. Ryan says he knows the difference between soup and Supe. The girl is Zoe.
Zoe says her father and grandfather still need her. That is why she cannot give up her power right now. Ryan asks, why say this even after the existence of bad Supes has ended? She says that even if bad Supes are gone, bad humans will never end. Ryan says that for now, he is done tasting this soup. The day the person in front of him will no longer be a Supe,he will think about tasting.
Meanwhile,Hughie has opened a shop of his own, and Starlight is pregnant. Then, even after being offered a job by the president, Hughie turns it down. The story ends on the very street where Hughie's story began."
