Why is the Weiser (Kwikset) HomeConnect 620 Z-Wave Lock so cheap?
I am looking for z-wave door locks and this one seems to be significantly cheaper than the others. Its on the Walmart site for $75. I am in Canada FYI, and from what I can tell, Weiser and Kwikset are sister brands? and Weiser is more common in Canada and Kwikset is more common in the US? The Weiser 620 looks like the Canadian-market equivalent of the Kwikset Home Connect 620.
Anyway, anyone here using this lock and do they like it / have any issues with it? Does it report battery status/level through z-wave or just locked/unlocked status? How long is the battery life?
