Update on my lump

I went to my urologist today. He examined the lump in my left testicle and confirmed it, then sent me for an ultrasound. I wrote the results below. He told me there’s nothing to worry about and that I should come for a check-up every 6 months.

What do you think about this?

Ultrasonography Results

Scrotal Ultrasound

In the scrotal ultrasound examination:

Both testes are located within the scrotum.

Both testes are normal in size.

Both testes have a homogeneous granular echo pattern.

No bilateral hydrocele is present.

Both epididymides are of normal size.

In the central part of the left testis, there is a millimetric calcific focus present (microlithiasis?).

On the left side, the diameter and number of pampiniform plexus veins are partially increased; no reflux flow was detected with Valsalva maneuver.

No isolated mass-like lesion was sonographically detected adjacent to the left testis.

I Need Your Help

Hi everyone, I’m 20 years old and yesterday I noticed a lump in my left testicle. It’s hard, about the size of a pea, and painless. I booked a urology appointment and I’ll be examined tomorrow at 9 AM.

Honestly, I’m scared.

Could you please help me cope with this anxiety and maybe share any general advice or experiences?
