Back in Season 1, the entire planet is completely destroyed and frozen for over a decade. By the time of Season 5, Domino is thriving and full of life, as if nothing ever happened to it.
I love how Stella and Roxy have a friendship with Bloom close enough for each of them to be considered her sister. And even Daphne was still able to have a warm relationship with Bloom despite being separated for ~16 years (*cough* unlike Oritel and Marion *cough*).
Obviously it left a good impression since this is the Trix's very first comeback and no one expected it, but they also made themselves presentable. In subsequent seasons, they just casually appear before the Winx, but here, they hide ominously in the shadow with only their aura and Gloomix visible. I'm not even talking about how they could have completely destroyed the Winx with their new powers if it hadn't been for Avalon's intervention.
I'm not against the look itself, it's actually very pretty, but I just don't like the way the Winx contributed to its design. We have a dress from Stella, morphix ribbons from Aisha, a tiara from Bloom, a tiara illumination from Tecna, musical shoes from Musa and a bouquet from Flora. Of the six girls, only three gave main pieces (Stella, Bloom, Musa) while the other two only gave accessories (Aisha, Flora) and the last one gave practically nothing (poor Tecna).
Personally, I would like Daphne to take some basic wedding dress and then the Winx would completely modify it, with each adding their own little touch like layered skirt, neckline, puffy sleeves, lace, ribbons, etc. That way, the whole group will make an equal contribution to the dress and it also will make a reference to Season 1, where Bloom the same way fixed a cheap dress into a gorgeous ballgown.
Also, Icy's wig can not be snatched, it can only be stretched.
Being a Pixie of Portals/Direction, Lockette initially represented Bloom's desire to learn about her true origin and find her parents. Now that this goal has been achieved, Lockette should be given to Daphne, because God forbid if she accidentally gets stuck alone in a room with a closed door.
This convergence doesn't just create a whole living being, it also forces the Winx to use their powers in a way they've never done before:
Everyone in Season 6 refers to Eldora as a Fairy Godmother, as if she is a very important or even legendary figure, when in reality she doesn't show any special achievements that would help her get this title. She taught at Alfea, trained Selina and guarded the Legendarium, but that was all in the past - in the series, she doesn't show any special magic, almost never participates in battles and all her support for the Winx boils down to "appear - give advice - disappear."
4Kids also chose to make Faragonda a former fairy godmother, but even there, it was mentioned only one time and then never brought up again.
They act like completely ordinary girls when the Black Circle gives them dark fairy magic, as if they weren’t witches from the Cloud Tower already.
Stella didn’t boast about how strong Enchantix wings were a couple of episodes ago just so that they all would fall off the cliff so miserably. And even then, these wings were big enough to help them fall slowly instead of plummeting down like stones.
The name is mentioned in Enciclomagia 2, Trouble with Trix and S1E17 of the Italian dub. Apparently, Princeps is on a lower level than Winx and slightly weaker (but still powerful), otherwise it has all the basic fairy magic. This could also explain why Diaspro’s design is different from the usual Winx, like having more refined details and no sparkles.
Now I’m wondering if Chimera, Miele or fairies from other schools also have their own unique transformations and what they’re called.
Stella’s relationship with her parents and their divorce are key parts of her development arc, but Season 3 focuses solely on the father’s side while the mother is completely ignored. Radius announced his engagement to Cassandra, Stella’s princess ball turned into a disaster, Cassandra took over Solaria and then the ruined wedding where it turned out she had been working with Valtor - and Luna never once tried to contact Stella to ask about her or these events. And the funny thing is, Luna could actually be seen at the end of the first film, where she was attending a party at Domino with Radius, meaning she was somewhere around, but never showed herself.

Personally, it looks interesting and refreshing, since Stormy's hair is always curly in all of her designs except disguise for Musa's concert. It also looks like rain, so the storm motif still remains.
Seriously, Alfea and the forest are about to burn to the ground and they just stand there like templates.
Living in the royal palace is certainly good and all, but as an astronomy enthusiast, having your own planetarium of the entire Magic Dimension is much better. Even the hallway leading to it looks very beautiful, decorated with many flags of planets and stars.
And then Chimera broke the display just to show off her new scepter from Temu. Like, breaking things doesn't make you edgy, it makes you a w(b)itch.
I just like how the last two episodes were divided into 5 events that all happened at the same time: while the main group is opposing Valtor, the other four are fighting fire, water, wind, and earth either as natural disasters or as elemental doppelgangers.
If only this was at least briefly acknowledged in the series as an explanation for why the Winx are the ones who constantly save the Magic Dimension from various evil and not someone else. Like, they don't just end up in the right place at the right time, it's literally their job.
Tritannus has always been the evil twin between him and Nereus, but after rewatching Season 5 premiere, I found it disturbing how deep it really went: Aisha described him as "kind of a psycho"; some mermaids called him "so not great"; and even when Tritannus tried to assasinate Nereus at his coronation and openly stated he wanted to kill their entire family, King Neptune simply said "Just what I would expect of you".
All this means that even before mutating and becoming the main villain, Tritannus was already SO bad he earned such a terrible reputation... yet literally NO ONE has done anything about it, not even his own family! Instead of trying to keep him under control or sending him to a rehabilitation center/prison already, Andros just accepted this behavior, but when Tritannus finally committed a real crime, everyone was genuinely shocked and like "oh my god how could you do that???", as if it was completely out-of-character.
On the other hand, I think this hairstyle somehow looks slightly better in her witch form than in fairy form. Maybe it's because the new suit is generally not so overloaded with details and colors, I especially like the wide skirt which helps to balance the huge hair and evenly distribute the visual volume.
