Over and out....

Having played this game since season 1, the release date and the initial unplayable Sharapova with smell of blood, I think it was, 😂😂, something began to feel off. I arrived from Topspin 4, I had never stopped playing it on Xbox and the skill was nearly instantly transferable.

On world tour I accumulated an okay 88% win loss and then switched over 2kTour when I felt something was strange with the my opponents gameplay and the exploits of serve, reflex and an unlikey execution of shots with low stamina when normal timing windows should shrink. Perhaps cheating was too strong a word but it was my suspicion early on.

2kTour was a little better as the roster was smaller, players using the same characters and Sharapova was nerfd haha.

Agassi then became the games biggest problem and still is imo. Completely overpowered to face regardless of your character but when you use him yourself he cant hold serve and the Sinners and Alcaraz usually over power him not always, but less than playing inversely. Weird, can someone explain?

Well over the last few weeks and discovering this channel and had some interesting theories about cheating etc. Its time to say goodbye to the game. Which is sad, haha but I just refuse to play a game where there are so many problems, unexplainable character limitation breaches (mainly no visible reduced power and precision with stamina loss) and a subgroup players who dont seem to experience the same issues.

Just to reitrate my points, and unanswered questions. These accusations and frustrations for most competitive players do not stem from, 'I lost so, you must be cheating.' Absolutely not. If there is something in the mechanics I do not know or can improve on from facing genuine quality opponents I'd play and genuinely try to improve my ceiling level. Its not the losing, its the manner in which you lose - completely destroyed, overpowered by players that appear to exceed character limitations from hours and hours of gameplay. Possible, yes from the elite but nearly every other player come on people!

This game has pretty simple mechanics and when you have spent hundreds , thousands of hours changing builds, using all the characters , hitting with perfect timing , control shots power shots, precision of shots with full stamina versus low stamina - these limitations stand out dramatically because most people are unable to replicate the level themselves. Thats why people throw around cheating because from experience they likely know the limitations of the character, not because they lost. Winning or losing to most competitive gamers is irrelevant and just want to figure out what they are missing in the game and take advice on how to improve it. Not one person in these sub group of people can or have offered any constructive advice to anyone on how to improve other than 'the end of the green bar.' Well we all know that and are doing that already hence why people are so disbelieving its a skill issue. It has zero to do with being unable to handle a loss.

Now this doesn't mean that these people are all cheating, that would be a ridiculous accusation but why has the gamepool shrunk and many people abandoned the game as result of a combination of these questions?

There is absolutely a group of elite players who will be able push the characters to the limits with full or no stamina and they are simply better, as simple as that. BUT nearly every other match now is this type of match and coming from a relatively new player with less than 150 hours of gameplay.

Is this possible? Yes. But what are the chances of this player and nearly every other player being an elite player. Very small, statistically. It raises serious questions.

My biggest issues with accepting this is just a skill issue and facing an elite group of players consists of the use of mainly three characters.

AGASSI - I have accepted since early in season 3/4 losing to him isn't a true reflection of my level. He is ridiculously overpowered and even a player with a lower level than you can still win.

So I use Agassi and cheating with caution although I still feel people are doing something weird with him. Therefore , to anyone playing this game that wants to keep their sanity just leave. Agassi matches are not worth it unless you are also Agassi. He should have been Nerfd long ago. Theres a reason why almost all Echamps players used him.

SINNER- Sinner is superb in this game when used correctly and by an excellent player. Precision, power, movement and boosted by his special skills. Players using him imo will always have an advantage, but from my experience using him and also playing against him is he will eventually lose stamina if you dont win quickly with him.

Not quite as bad as Sampras or Swiatek but he will lose power and precision and you can grind out the storm.

(I continue to stress any player matching you for 40 minutes as Sampras, with no stamina and you are Sinner or Alcaraz etc raises serious questions. He tanks out after 3 games, competitive high quality games. As simple as that. Again if he is so magnificent why is none of the elite players using this Serve and Volley play that is seemingly unplayable? Im curious).

Back to Sinner. My biggest concern and unanswered question with him is opponents who never lose the stamina with him. Hit corner to corner for the full match. If you have long points using him the precision fades, ball gets shorter and power decreases.

I have tested it many times in my matches using him and seeing how much the timing window shrinks and how much the shots power and placement reduce. (Im pretty sure thats how the games designed to be played).

But many players seem unaffected by this and im genuinely interested as too how? Aside from Highly Flammable where he and Gauff can go on an incredible run of points, it seems outwith the limitations of the game and his character when I have used him.

I am by no means bad with him but I dont think he is strong when stamina reduces. Like designed when you tank and lose stamina you become less powerful and precise, incredibly difficult to adjust and hit the timing window which is why you MUST preserve stamina and use control shots. But running for 60+ plus shots in a point drains everyone of stamina. Its unavoidable. How are you doing this?

FEDERER

Federer has confused me since day dot, although he did get better after the update imo. His BH was a liability and still can be. I can win with him , he is spectacular when used correctly. But my suspicion is, if you were to simulate a match with him and Sinner/Agassi at the highest level he would probably lose.

Imo Federer also suffers from Stamina loss meaning his net approaches and forehand are difficult to utilise because top players attack the backhand. Totally legitimate play but again there are a subgroup of players that dont have these problems. How?

-Federer serves, unreachable drop volley, point won.

-Federers backhand hold ups against maximum pressure, generates perfect angle - possible but unlikely when blasted by Sinners backhand and fatality.

This subgroup also has the expertise to run around the backhand, use the insideout shot (the hardest shot in the entirety of the game imo) and execute the shot perfectly at full power and recover for the next shot if its retrieved. Possible? Yes. But for several shots in one point? Questionable, absolutely.

I have tried and Im completely unable to do this - thats also a possible skill issue but overall the margin of timing required for that is milliseconds and with the connection/latency issues in the game im amazed people can do this.

Test yourself, play the computer AI on a reasonable difficulty use Federer and try and use the indsideout shot repeatedly during rallies and see how hard it is to execute and how quickly your are punished by the AI even on relatively low difficulty.

But he seemingly becomes unplayable. Yet not one person in Echamps attempted to use Federer or replicated this easy serve drop volley play. Why not?

We seen the matches Agassi to Agassi , was there some return serve counter winners, sure these are the elite but were there games of return winners? No. So why should the Federer/Sampras serve volley be feared by Agassi return if the elite couldn't hit constant return winners?

To add I have faced an Agassi several times online where I was simply unable to Serve at all as every shot was a return winner. Where was this in the echamps? How is this possible off every serve, control, basic , advanced, topspin, power, slice. Im a good server. Tens of thousands of aces.

Anyways, someone played as Sinner, attempted to anyway and lost pretty comfortably cementing that Agassi is the player that needs nerfd imo. Why Serena etc was banned , I have no idea. Anyone?

I find Serena fun to play with but she is actually quite stiff to use and full power doesnt give you easy winners with her as the power shots tend to remain quite central in the court if overused especially. Theres very little angle unless you use topspin control shots.

So again I'm genuinely interested how this growing group of players are able to replicate constant full powered angled winners with her constantly and again when she has low stamina? If there's no cheating etc, fine then explain how its done as hitting the ball at the end of the green bar doesn't always execute this with her every point. Sometimes yes you will get an outrageous power angled winners with her but every point? I've been unable to replicate this. And confirms why imo a lot of players on leagues where she is not banned dont tend to use her. I think its lack of angle with the power. Sharapova is selected more I think for this precise reason.

Anyway, over and out from me and will be retiring the game with a respectable and honest win loss record on both tours which I am proud of, somewhere in the region of 75-82% over both tours.

Far from the best but will easily accept there's far better opposition than me but just not as frequently as its now occurring from seemingly new players and also from players that have never had a latency/connection issue in thousands of matches.

This baffles me. I genuinely dont understand how you can never have experienced this. Again it doesn't mean cheating but it raises serious questions how and also how some specific accounts are seemingly able to exceed character limitations that I tested and was unable to replicate over several hundred or thousands of hours.

There will be a very small number of players who can indeed do this and know the mechanics insideout but nearly every other player now with little gameplay? That raises serious questions.

So I will leave it there, enjoy the game.

Sorry to any genuine player who I've personally said are a cheater and you are simply just amazing at the game. Bravo to you and its ashame there is simply no way to identify these players. I will never believe anyone who appears to exceed these game limitations unless we are playing side by side in the same room on different consoles on the same wifi network before I conclude an elite ceiling exists well above my own in this game.

To the others who can reach the games input limits with little gametime or from some other method or whatever, cheating or not, you know who you are and thanks for ruining what should have been the best tennis game we will ever have.

Enjoy the game. TC

Stamina attribute, levels and special skill groans

So like the title I suggests I hate these and I think its the games biggest flaws.

None of these professionals should be under level 29, if we say level 30 is legend. None of them should have less than 70 stamina. Nearly all professionals can last long matches sometimes 3+ hours, 5 + hours irl, so giving someone 48 stamina and another 80 is just too big of a discrepancy that ruins gameplay.

Stamina imo shouldn't even be a stat, it should be a skill only (like longer better!) Optional to further boost stamina gods like Gauff and Murray who are notorious for winning long matches via physical ability. Longer better in this game is such a stupid skill. Medvedev and Osaka - they have this skill yet have stupidly low stamina, speed and reflex to even stay in the point - so how can they get longer better! If they lose stamina fast because its too low to begin with? How dumb. Like really... smh.

Gauff should have longer better! Alcaraz should have longer better! Sinner does not have more stamina than Alcaraz lol, I repeat Sinner does not have more stamina than Alcaraz.

Characters with Diesel Hard Hitter require stamina to use this skill. How can you hit with power shots during a long point of you have no stamina to use it...?😂😂 I.e. Badosa and Sampras. Its sooo flawed.

I built my character with Diesel Hard Hitter, have 85 stamina works perfectly. Anything under 80, waste of a skill. Above 85, little difference.

Anyone running around with 35 speed, 40 reflex, 100 power, 45 stamina etc reaching every ball, blasting winners, never tiring, endless stamina, hitting all the lines - Sure my guy! Sure! Keep your Cronus warm this winter!

Think its time to delete this game it winds me up too much 😂

Script clowns..

Do these cheats really think people dont know they're using script? Im curious, or are they just that dumb? Like you cant predict my shots, shot countering with Federer before I've even played a power shot and the game runs incredibly slow.

Worst character in 2ktour?

Worst character in 2ktour....

I've used all characters in the game, the majority of them have their flaws which imo comes down to mainly stamina related issues. For me, when the stamina goes low the Timing window becomes ridiculously difficult to time and in conjunction with reduced power and precision, the character becomes near impossible to use. Prime example Sampras and Pliskova - maybe Tiafoe if you dont win quickly.

But who is the worst character by the Devs. Osaka, Fernandez, Medvedev?

For me,

Medvedev is the worst ATP - very difficult to use or win with.

Fernandez is the worst WTA - literally dreadful to use, nearly impossible to win with even with perfect timing.

At least Raducanu, Wozniacki, Keys, Zverev, etc are usable.

Blocking people...

Blocking players on the portal and PS5 profile. This works nearly always except for a random few. Why?

Has there been an update?

I use update very tamely. Over last day or so gameplay feels a bit slower, movement feels slower - perfect shot window feels considerably smaller? I feel a bit Nerfd. Anyone else?
