So I applied to be an art teacher at a school district but they chose someone else, but the school still wants me to teach 4th grade math. Even though I said yes, my ACP is Art EC-12, and I’m not finished yet, and my intern year starts in August. Do I have to complete extra work in order for me to teach 4th grade math??? My ACP is Teachworthy.

EDIT: Would it be possible if I take my EC-6 core I can still earn my ACP in art, but because I would pass the EC-6 exam, would that allow me to teach 4th grade math since it falls under EC-6 core?

Good afternoon everyone, I have a question. I have an interview tomorrow for art teacher position, and my content exam isn’t until May 15th. Will me not having that exam passed yet effect the hiring process since I don’t have it going into the interview?
