Elevator glitch

At work I usually use the elevator to reach the 2nd floor from ground level. There are two elevator cabins, left and right that take like ten seconds max to reach the 2nd floor.

The one on the left side when coming in from the entrance is the one that opens when both are sat at ground level so that's the one I use probably ninety percent of time.

Coming out of the left cabin you'd walk a few steps slightly to the right to reach our glass entrance door on the 2nd floor, coming out of the right cabin you'd walk slightly left towards the door.

Yesterday, after my break I went into the left cabin as usual but ended up disoriented upon exiting because the glass door into our workplace floor was somehow on the left side of me.

I definitely clearly remember taking the left cabin and was even asked by our secretary why I was so irritated and dazed coming out of the elevator walking away from the door and standing there confused for a couple seconds haha.

Maybe it was just my lack of judgement in the moment yesterday or all the elevator stories on this sub may have some substance.
