Black walnut with thorns?
In a ohio forest, lots of these shrubs in a spot. No large tree nearby looking like it, except regular thornless black walnuts. We have lots of black walnuts, but they have no thorns, and seem to leaf out later. This looks really similar, but has pairs of thorns at the base of each leaf. What is it?
