I’ve been on academic probation for two semesters, went through an Academic Standards Committee appeal after being dismissed, and was granted continued probation last semester. I’ve now been dismissed again and am preparing for another appeal.

I’m trying to understand how realistic it is to get continued probation at this stage.

Has anyone been in a similar situation (multiple probations/dismissals or repeated appeals)? If so:

• Was continued probation ever granted again?
• What actually made the difference in your case?
• What did your appeal focus on that seemed to matter most?

Any insight from students or advisors would really help.
