Welcome Guide notification

So I’m on currently on a sit, and every time I open the welcome guide to read it a notification is sent to the homeowner requesting the welcome guide. I just did the same thing to my next sit and the homeowner got the notification as well, even though they already sent me the welcome guide. Can this be fixed?

Nervous about immigration into England from the US.

I have two sits scheduled in England for a total of one month beginning in December. I am an American citizen. I’ve read numerous post about immigration and I know TrustedHousesitters offers advice, but I am hearing that it is becoming more difficult. I’ve read that immigration considers a trade for services as work. I really hate the thought about lying to get into the country. Has anyone had any recent experience with this situation?

Question about notifications.

Why is it when I have a notification of a sit that comes up in my desired area and dates that once I click on it there are already applicants? Yesterday I received a notification of an available sit and again I clicked on it and it already had an applicant. I went ahead and applied within minutes and the homeowner messaged me back saying they had already chosen someone. Is this common?

Trouble signing in

Is anyone else having trouble signing into the TrustedHousesitters app? I’ve been trying for an hour and it just keeps trying to load after I put in my Info. Wi-Fi is fine.

HO coming home early.

I’m relatively new to THS and had mostly very positive sits. One of my recent sits the homeowner scheduled me to stay until Monday and then they texted me on Sunday and said they were a half hour away and heading home. It was a short sit so all I had to really do was pack my bag put it in my car, made sure the pets were taken care of, greeted them when they came home and gave an update. I left within a half hour. Apparently they expected me to spend the extra night. Is this common practice? They actually noted this in their review of me and left me four stars.
