LU account lockout
I see other post about this but figured I would talk about my experience thus far. Can't log in obviously. I wanted to finish my assignments for D term on Thursday as I was going out of town on Friday. Shiny Hunters happened so that wasn't an option. So here I am on Monday at the cafe I go to, to complete my school work, and once again I am unable to work.
I tried contacting the help desk via chat. It said I was 120th in the queue. I reached 100th in the queue and it seems to have crashed. Called the number. The voicemail robot said to delete cache and cookies and see if that works. No dice. Said try a new browser. Negative. Says to visit liberty.edu/helpdeskDIY and search for "how do i set up and use multi-factor verification". No such result exists.
I then waited on the phone for 1 hour. Meanwhile it's now 1:30 EST and I'm running out of time to complete my work due Friday. I was once 1 week ahead as I planned to not do anything this week for traveling to Lynchburg for graduation.
I hope this gets resolved soon or I'll be typing up a paper in the middle of the football field Thursday! See you guys soon there!
Also fuck you shiny hunters. Go play pokemon or something and stop messing with students. Get a life.
EDIT: fixed! I called the help desk and decided to use the call back function. They called back after 10 minutes, bypassed the Microsoft Authenticator and now it just texts me the code! MS authenficator can be annoying so this is great!
