Shareholder here small bag holder who thinks a turnaround is possible.
Recently ate their sausages and tonight woffeda down their burgers.
First of all if you expect the product to taste like meat then you will be disappointed. I have a feeling that's where some of the negativity arises.
The sausages were great the entire family enjoyed them with a side of rice and veggies. Tonight we attempted the burgers and again, pleasantly surprised with the taste, it was light, good texture, easy to chew and filling. The size was also good as I expected them to be smaller. My teenager give it a 4.3/5.
All this to say if people have an open mind I believe most people would enjoy the plant based products as a change up to one's diet. You can be a meat eater and still try these products.
As for the share price, this experience just reinforced my belief that BYND has the product to succeed, but operationally they need a big turnaround, cut costs, slim down production and continue to introduce high margin products
Anybody else surprised when they first tried Beyond items?
