Whether we like it or not, it's highly likely we're getting a live action cg, hybrid film. That's the honest and safer route. We all. Want a 3d animated film. But a lot of people forget this needs to make money, as Crash Bandicoot is still a franchise that can't find it's footing. Live action cartoon critters tend to make huge bank, Ie; Sonic, Alvin and the Chimpmunks, Smurfs, Tmnt etc. With the right marketing of course. And it's proven they have follow ups for sequels. And thats what general audiences would want to come see, and before anyone brings up Mario just remember you're comparing Mario to Crash Bandicoot, That's enough said. This is one of the most likely routes considering Hollywood and the state fo the series and honestly the safest option for success from a business standpoint.

It's true when you honestly think about it. He-Man doesn't really have much other Foes besides skeletor, and the designs are too much of a mess to adapt without straying too far from source material, while the thundercats designs are more "clean" and adaptable and there's a lot to do with the characters and world.
