I get that she wants to be closer to Avia (her best friend or something) but I'm really confused on the deeper reason of why.

Avia, to her credit I guess, said a very long time ago she wanted to be a famous movie star. I won't speak to the reality of that outcome, but at the very bare minimum she's at least sticking to that plan.

But Emmi is... Not going to College, and has never outright said what she wants or plans to do outside of "live with my sister." Obviously these girls are so financially insured that it doesn't truly matter what she chooses, there will never be a point of potential financial drought. But I find it so strange that she's posted non-stop on her socials about how much she's deeply in love with her boyfriend... And I don't think he's going to be moving there with her...

Must really suck for that kid. This girl you're madly in love with is moving away because uh... She's uh... Well she needs to live next to her other sibling or something... But don't worry, long distance relationships work you know, look how well it worked with Avia and... Ian... Oh wait.

Their latest videos / Colette's social media posts, I can't help but notice how far she's taken her modest attire. As a plus sized woman myself I can fully understand the looser fitted / baggy clothes to feel comfortable and a little hidden. But in the case of them going to watch their kids play sports, I find her full black sweater, pants, hat, sunglasses and black umbrella mildly... Odd? Given it's early summer in Idaho and the weather isn't really 'cold' yet? Even their little mini vacation vlog she was wearing an all black sweatsuit with 3 lays under the top layer in the middle of the forest when it's sunny? I know she's a very religious woman, but it just feels oddly forced.

Another oddity to go along with it is how Shay absolutely LOOMS over that woman in their videos. If she's on camera, he is on camera. If she's on camera too long? He's in her bubble, RIGHT THERE. I don't think in the old vlogs he was as weirdly clingy, at least not so outwardly obvious about it. When she's alone she's mostly just trying to sell her bullshit seminars, but she seems far happier / comfortable. Versus when she's making breakfast and this dude is literally an inch from her face. If my husband stood that close to me while I was trying to cook I'd give him a hard elbow lol.
